Joseph Mutterspaugh

Joseph joined Vision Financial Group, Inc. in August of 2022. As a Customer Experience Specialist, he assists in identifying clients’ needs, responds to queries, and collaborates with internal departments to optimize our customer service experience.


Before joining VFG, Joseph was the Guest Services Supervisor at The Mall at Robinson, a super-regional shopping mall in Pittsburgh. In that position, he was the public face of the management office. Handling any concerns that his guests would come to him with ranged from retailer to general issues. This also included working with the marketing director to help promote and run the new rewards program.


Joseph was born in Omaha, NE, and spent his formative years there. His father, being from the Pittsburgh area, decided it was best to move back to the Pittsburgh area where they had more family. Even though he spent most of his time living in Pittsburgh he has always considered Omaha “home.”


“Kindness Always” is one of his personal mantras in life. Never knowing what is going on in someone’s head one should always lead with empathy and try to see ourselves in others. Joseph believes this will ultimately lead to one making better decisions when handling situations.


His interest includes history, reading, and binge-watching shows on any streaming platform. In the summertime, you can find him tending to flowers in his garden.
