Gary DiFrank joined VFG in July of 2015. He came to us after a 26-year career as Risk Manager for a Pittsburgh-based national lumber and building materials manufacturer and wholesale distributor. Gary successfully ran the credit department overseeing credit, collections, and cash application. He also was the liaison for banking needs including positive pay issues and cash management. Gary handled the company’s insurance portfolio, as well. He began his career as a business analyst with Dun & Bradstreet, Inc.
Gary brings his many years of experience to VFG in the role of Credit and Collections Manager. He is active in managing all phases of collection activity and serves as an underwriter to the leasing and financing deals brought in by our sales team.
Following a family tradition, Gary holds a BA, cum laude, from the Pennsylvania State University (his three siblings and two children are Nittany Lions, as well) and is still an avid fan of their sports teams.
Gary and his wife Rina have raised their two children which provided him with the opportunity to be active as a baseball and hockey coach, scoutmaster, and everything else the kids were into. He now enjoys seeing life through the eyes of his three grandchildren.
“I have been impressed with the broad scope of industries and customers that VFG services. From Fortune 500s to sole proprietors, and all handled with a consistent attention to quality customer service. This is a small company that accomplishes big things.”
Outside of work Gary enjoys biking, home remodeling, and tinkering with cars.
